Soot Grabber filters reduce soot and carbon particulate emitted from internal combustion engines. The Soot Grabber brand was conceived as a second generation product for the rapidly growing and heavily regulated diesel exhaust filtration market, estimated to be nearly $6 billion domestically, and $15 billion worldwide by 2010.
With new regulations governing particulate and NOx emissions from diesel engines, a large market exists for improved diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and for filters that simultaneously remove particulates and catalyze exhaust gases. Our catalyzed ceramic nanofiber/microfiber filter media is well suited for enhanced particulate removal (50 to 200 nanometer particles) and catalytic efficiency.
